Back up off

Recently, people have been getting down on my main man, and I just can’t stand for it. Seriously, what did Abraham Lincoln ever do to you? We watched this video in theology where Tom Osborne uses my man Abe as an example of preference saying that even though he failed a lot at first before he eventually began to succeed.

This is inherently false. Everyone of Abe’s “failures” were simply a part of her ultimate success and therefore not failures at all. So stop saying that is an example of Abe perseverance. If anything he is a prime example of a whirlwind ride straight to the top.

Also, perseverance in itself it crap. If you didn’t fail in the first place then perseverance would never be necessary. They say if at first you don’t succeed, try, try again. But I say, if at first you don’t succeed, what the hell is wrong with you.

This is not to say that, should you fail at something, you shouldn’t try again. It is simply to say that you should do so in great disgrace.
